I just discovered Janet Eckford. Her books are well written, have solid editing, and likeable characters. This collaboration with Reana Malori is a sweet romance. Although it is a short story the authors tell you that time has passed and the relationship has progressed and the love makes sense as it has had time to grow. I like the sassiness of the heroine. Also I like the cover; it's nice to have a cover actually show a couple together instead of two solo pictures combined.Product details

Camden and Lexie were like oil and water, always bickering, always trying to get the better of each other. What they didn’t want to acknowledge was the burning desire they felt for each other. When Camden takes his niece to the fall festival and ends up giving into her want for a custom mountain bike, he sees this as the perfect opportunity to get closer to Lexie. He makes it a point to go to Lexie’s bike shop several times a day just to be near her. She finally breaks and lays into him after he makes a comment on her business practices. The surprising result of that verbal lashing is they end up making a date to go mountain biking together so she can show Cam why she is so passionate about biking. What they find on the hike is a connection they never trusted they could have with each other and a future neither expected.
This is a great short story of a building relationship, and like the title states, falling into love. If you’re looking for a quick, heart-warming read, this is your book.
Always love a good love story, but it would have been great to see these two become lovers before realizing they were in love,
It was alright once you got past the fact the author kind of dump you into a story that you felt like you missed the beginning of. the summary drew me in. I realize it's a short but the beginning disappointed.
I enjoyed this story. I would have loved to see more character development between Cam and Lexie. However, this book is a good, light read. Cam is the ideal prince charming. I was disappointed when the story ended abruptly.
This was ok for a short story. Ok plot. This book was not bad just ok. Did not expect him to be the one to wait but, nice switch in the story.
While this story is just a short, it was well developed and enjoyable. The authors gave a glimpse of the characters personalities and gave them depth in a short span of time.
This is a simple love story told in such beautiful way. I liked the small town feel and preciousness of their falling in love. There is a fantastic love scene that is built from absolute hilarity. I think you will enjoy this story even though it is short. There is depth to the characters that makes it okay to be so short. I love that they didn't jump into the physical part of love until later. It was done in a way that I would personally cherish.
